Canon once again chose to go the quiet route in announcing two new pieces of premium professional glass this morning: the EF 500mm F/4L IS II USM and EF 600mm F/4L IS II USM lenses. Buried under a press release for its two new consumer digital SLRs, the Canon T3i and T3, which were just announced and previewed here, Canon said this morning that it was introducing the EF 500mm and EF 600mm supertelephotos.
