Rain, Rain, Go away, Come Back After the Final Four!

Cathedral of Christ The KingToday, Do and I went to shoot a few more shoots for the final, but we ran into clouds and locked churches. We waited for about 3 hours and finally a glimmer of sun came through the clouds. The sun created a backlit subject but we figured it might be the only sun for a week so we shot it. This is a photo of the Cathedral of Christ The King.
Of course as we were shooting it was hard not to see others seeking shelter under every little eve and nook they could find. Fortunately, this lady found an unoccupied spot and took advantage of the holiday to get some sleep.

Turkey Dinner

Turkey DinnerWhile shooting the dinner table the other day a turkey just happened to walk through my scene. Perhaps he is getting out of town while the getting was good. The slow shutter speed makes him a bit hard to see, because he was walking at a good pace. I enlarged the window pane so you can see the little guy a little better.

Field Trip to Madison

Students At WorkI know Madison was weeks ago, but with all the assignments and internship work I haven't had much time to pickup the 35 and look at some of the non-assignment photos I have taken. I ran across this one and it made me chuckle a bit. I am not sure if they realized what the sign had on it. Anyhow the field trip was enjoyable and good for the class in general.

See yall around the light table next week.

OK, Just One More Building

OK, I saw this building, and since I have not captured a building on film yet, I thought I should start. This one presented more of a challenge for me. It was close in and the lines were going crazy. But after moving it to three different spots (major moves) and about five different minor moves the lines started going straight. The van driver was not happy about moving his van and well it didn't get moved as you can see. The ugly skies didn't help but when your out of time your out of time.

And One More High Rise Test.

This was a really long shot. I am not sure how it will come out, or even if it is worth the trouble. I think I am going to go with one glen park, I like the glass. But I have to reshoot it because the first try was really badly under exposed. Not sure what I did wrong; hopefully I will not do it again. Too bad I don't have the blue skies today.
